The Gold Coast is an area in North Minneapolis that, through the efforts a neighbors whom want to see a new leaf turn for this part of the city, has become one of the most hidden gems the city has to offer.

This part of North Minneapolis has seen extensive redevelopment over the past decade. I wish I could have captured the aura of this area before revitalization efforts began in the late 1990's, back when it was known as the Sumner Field housing projects. Still, the transformation has been remarkable.
